At our next monthly Tuesday evening meeting on January 5th, Steve Johns, one of the club's master bowl turners, will go through the process of turning a simple bowl. His demonstration will start with the roughing out the bowl from a half log. Steve will then go through the drying process and finish turn the bowl from a previously dried bowl blank. From there, Steve will move on to the sanding and finishing techniques that he uses.
