Steve's demo will involve mounting the half-log blank on the lathe using a Oneway Big-Bite in the headstock and live center in the tailstock to facilitate the desired finished bowl top and side edge orientation, forming the outside contour and foot configuration (tenon or recess) turning the piece around, mounting on a 4-jaw chuck and turning the inside to the desired wall thickness.  Sanding and finishing will be accomplished as time permits.
